Introduction

St Nicholas Hospice Care is here to help people live their lives to the full and improve the quality of life for all who are affected by their illness.

We see people with any illness that is life threatening, such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease and other advanced diseases such as heart or lung disease. For details on how to refer click here.

We provide a comprehensive range of specialist palliative care services to local people and their families living with terminal illnesses. Since we began we estimate we have supported over 50,000 families.

We see around 2,000 people per year, either here at the Hospice or in a patient's own home via the Community Hospice Team. At any one time we have 320 people on our caseload.

We believe all our patients deserve individualised and excellent care and support. And we strive to deliver.
