A Girl's Night Out was one of the Hospice's most successful fundraisers to date raising more than £50,000.
Fresh from spending their Saturday night walking an impressive 11.2 miles around Bury St Edmunds, many of the walkers have got in touch to have their say about the fantastic event.

Hannah Ferrari wrote: "A Girls’ Night Out was a truly enjoyable fundraising event to take part in. It felt rather surreal donning my pyjamas out on a Saturday night, but it was certainly all part of the fun! It was so lovely to have the added encouragement along the way, from both the wonderful marshals and the general public with their waving and tooting as we went by.There was such a charming atmosphere to the evening, with a real buzz that kept my energy going. Thank you to all those involved for making it such a great event and one that I hope to take part again next year!"
Tina and Gemma Fowler wrote: "Just wanted to say what a fantastic night it was doing A Girl's Night Out walk for the Hospice. Myself and my daughter did it and we enjoyed every minute of it. We can't wait to do it again next year. I would like to say congratulations to the person who thought of this idea. It was fantastic."
Diane Kennedy wrote: "We had a ball. Please thank the marshalls, they were all so sweet and encouraging! Hope you do it again next year xxx."

Carol Bugg wrote: "Myself and my best friend came on the A Girl's Night Out on Saturday. We had a great time walking and talking, laughing and a few tears. We had not practiced very much beforehand so we are very proud of our 3hrs 15mins time. The whole night was made enjoyable by the policeman on his bike and all the people at the water and direction stations. And also the general public tooting and waving and coming out of their houses to give the walkers encouragement. We are already asking friends to join us next year. The hot chocolate and the bacon roll was very welcome but next time without the queue. Well done to all concerned. Thanks for having us for a great night from Carol and Vicki."
Sarah Bell wrote: "I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who made A Girl's Night Out such a fantastic event. Prior to the walk, I was a little nervous walking through the centre of Bury in my pyjamas but that all changed when I saw everyone at Angel Hill. It was a great occasion and I am so pleased that I took part. I am already drumming up support for next year among work colleagues and friends."
Vicki Cox wrote: "A Girl's Night Out was brilliant and I want to congratulate everyone who made it such a success. My Mum stayed at the Hospice for five weeks and was able to come home with the Hospice's help for another five weeks, before going back for two weeks. Sadly, we lost Mum on 27 December, 2005. The Hospice is an amazing place - nothing is ever too much trouble. To me, the Hospice will always hold a special place in my heart and I cannot praise them enough. I wanted to do the walk to show my appreciation to a team of dedicated and supportive people who were there in our hour of need. To try and give back just a small amount of what they gave us."
Bethany Pepper wrote: "When my Mum first told me about A Girl's Night Out, I knew straight away that I wanted to be part of the event. My friend and I walked and laughed and chatted throughout the circuit and chatted with others along the way. Our morale was always high. At 15 years old, I think I was one of the youngest to take part. I found the night extremely enjoyable and would certaintly be eager to take part again. Well done and thank you to the St Nicholas Hospice Care team."
Tracey Cornish wrote: "A well thought out fundraising event, well organised with the added bonus of wristband glo-sticks and reflective t-shirts. I really enjoyed the event and the atmosphere was great. I managed to complete the walk in 2hrs 55mins without any training. What a great way to raise funds for a worthy cause. See you next year."
Kala Nobbs wrote: "We had a great time and it was a lot of fun. My husband was a steward and he enjoyed it too. He would be happy to help next time. Hope you raised lots of money."
Tania Watson wrote: "I just thought I would let you know how well I thought A Girl's Night Out was organized. The marshals were very encouraging and seemed to appear just when you needed a little support! I walked by myself, through choice, but chatted to other ladies along the way. I was feeling very emotional when I finished so unable to talk to anyone. My lovely husband met me and whisked me home. Thank you for arranging such a lovely event, a challenge to a lot of us that took part and hopefully raised a lot of funds and awareness for St Nicholas Hospice Care's good work. Please pass on my thanks to all your volunteers that helped put the event together, hopefully I will be back next year!"
Sally Hurrell wrote: "Thank you for a fantastic evening. Congratulations for organising such a smooth event. Please thank everyone involved. Hope you have raised lots and lots."
Teresa Claydon wrote: "I just want to say what a lovely, well-organised event A Girl's Night Out was. It was great fun to participate and I know a lot of hard work must have gone into the organisation. Hopefully you will now make it an annual event."
Brigid Martineau wrote: "What a great evening and a wonderful atmosphere. It was so exciting to see all the young so enthusiastic. You arranged it brilliantly."
Beverley Harrison wrote: "What a fantastic night my friends and I had. So well organised and the weather you booked arrived too! Well done, I am looking forward to next year already."
Maria Sumner wrote: "I completed the course in 3hrs, including a pit stop for about 10mins, so I am very pleased with that. I'd like to thank everyone who sponsored me. It was very much appreciated and spurred me on to get it done in a good time. It was one of the healthiest night's out I've ever had - apples, water and 11 miles with not a chocolate bar in sight! Thanks to all of you. I have raised £248.50 which is fantastic."
