Our care is given free to all patients and their families.

St Nicholas Hospice Care has to raise £11,000 a day

Our community support is vital. Many people help us year after year. We could not continue without their generosity and hard work. At the same time new ideas, new trusts, new events, new companies, and new volunteers also help us to achieve our goals.

Other ways to raise money

Community Fundraising
At St Nicholas Hospice Care we run (and assist our supporters in running) a number of fundraising events within the local community. Sponsored walks, marathons, ten-pin bowling, fetes, foreign treks, skydiving, street collections, open gardens, coffee mornings, dinner dances – the range is endless!
Perpetual Memory Funds
A Perpetual Memory Fund is a service open to everyone who has lost a loved one. It is a way in which you can remember a special person in an unique way.
Companies
The Hospice is keen to forge links with our local business community. We are happy to listen to any ideas you may have for a lasting partnership with the Hospice.
Trusts
Trusts and other grant making institutions remain an important source of income for St Nicholas Hospice. We currently enjoy the support of a number of Charitable Trusts, with whom we work in partnership to provide facilities and care for our patients and their families.
