St Nicholas Hospice Care is keen to forge links with our local business community. We are happy to listen to any ideas you may have for a lasting partnership with us.

Jail and Bail 2008St Nicholas Hospice Care is your local charity in West Suffolk and Thetford. Getting involved with your local Hospice can be a rewarding experience for your company.

By supporting US you are helping YOUR employees and YOUR community. It's a great way of bringing your employees together in a common cause, and telling your community that your company cares. Whether you sponsor an event or organise one of your own, the support that you give us is vital to our patients and their families.

There are many examples of companies in our area supporting St Nicholas Hospice Care, including:

  • Towergate in Bury St Edmunds nominated St Nicholas Hospice Care as their ‘Charity of the Year’. Throughout the year they held corporate golf and karting days and sponsored events arranged by us.
  • Chassis Cab donated a van for us to use as part of our retail distribution service.

  • A team of staff from Genzyme in Haverhill did some decorating for us in their free time, and the company then sent us a donation as match-funding for the amount of time they had spent doing it. Incidentally, they enjoyed the experience so much that a party from Genzyme regularly come in to help out at St Nicholas Hospice Care.
  • Cocksedge Building Contractors in Mildenhall regularly make a donation to us in lieu of sending out Christmas cards.
  • Lilyo, on St John's Street, Bury St Edmunds designed a bespoke jewellery range for us, with 30% of the takings coming to St Nicholas Hospice Care.

It doesn't need to be serious-minded stuff either - lot's of companies organise fun times and events for their employees and their families, and make some money for the Hospice as well.

Fun days, wine tasting, race nights - whatever you want to do we want to hear about it. So many companies have been touched by the work of St Nicholas Hospice Care, and this is a great way of giving something back.
