For £1 a week, you can help change lives for the better in your local community.
Our Lottery was set up to provide additional financial income, alongside other fundraising opportunities, for the services, support and care required for those in the final chapters of their life, by St Nicholas Hospice Care in the West Suffolk and Thetford areas.
The Hospice Lottery raised over £360,000 last year and with nearly 9,000 members who continue to take part, supporting those around us who receive both skilled and dignified care from St Nic’s when they need it most.

Our Lottery is crucial to ensuring the future of our services. Here’s a few reasons why:
- Since 1998, over £8,777,500 has been raised by the members of St Nic’s Lottery
- Surplus from the Lottery funds approx. 8% of the £7 million annual cost of running the Hospice services each year
- On average over 60% of the Lottery income goes straight into the Hospice and therefore towards the everyday running costs for the care and support of your friends and neighbours.
