Our Hospice Community Connector, Rhonda Waters, has been working alongside Macmillan to set up a cancer support group in Newmarket.

The group is for anyone who has been affected by cancer and will be held monthly on the first Tuesday of the month from 2pm to 4pm at the Racing Centre, Fred Archer Way, Newmarket.

Being diagnosed with cancer, at any age comes with many challenges as you adjust to treatment, navigate the healthcare system and find a balance between your cancer diagnosis and everyday life.

You may also experience other issues that impact your care and overall quality of life.

Every session, this group will provide a safe space to exchange support and information and receive guidance from health and social care professionals whilst discussing the unique challenges of living with a cancer diagnosis.

There is no need to book ahead. Refreshments are provided.
