St Nicholas Hospice Care staff have helped their workplace to be named one of the 100 best places to work in the country.
The Hospice is placed at number 67 in The Sunday Times 100 Best Not for Profit Places to Work list, based on feedback from a staff survey carried out at the end of last year.
The new Best Companies list, which was published in the Sunday Times, has been set up to recognise not for profit organisations that have created an outstanding place to work.
Jane Doughty, Personnel Director at the Hospice, said: “We are delighted to have received this accolade.
“It is lovely for the staff here to have this news, but it is also a fantastic achievement for the Hospice to be ranked in the prestigious Sunday Times 100 Best Not for Profit Places to Work list.
“This feedback from the Best Companies staff survey is a major vote of confidence from our staff and it confirmed what we already knew – that our staff feel St Nicholas Hospice Care is a great place to work."
In addition to winning a coveted spot in The Sunday Times top 100, the Hospice has been awarded the 'first-class' one star accreditation by Best Companies.
